Dr Charlie (Yan) Ho

Dr Ho is a specialist anaesthetist with extensive experience and training in adult, obstetric and paediatric anaesthesia. He has worked in multiple tertiary teaching hospitals such as St Thomas’ Hospital and Evelina Children’s Hospital in London, as well as Fiona Stanley Hospital and Royal Perth Hospital in Perth.

He has scope of practice across a wide range of surgical specialties. His clinical interests include regional anaesthesia, for which he underwent sub-specialty fellowship training, as well as total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA). He is also passionate about communicating the latest anaesthetic knowledge to his colleagues, and has convened multiple scientific conferences in WA.

Currently he holds a position as consultant anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital. In addition, he is a member of the continuing education committee (CME), amongst other roles in the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
