Dr Joseph Ong completed most of his specialist anaesthesia training in Perth, Western Australia with experience across all of Perth’s tertiary adult, paediatric and obstetric academic institutions. He also undertook training in Hong Kong where he gained further anaesthesia experience in cardiothoracic, hepatobiliary surgery and robotic surgery.
He completed subspecialty training in obstetric anaesthesia and cardiothoracic anaesthesia.
Professional Interests:
Dr Ong is a staff specialist anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital. His interests include perioperative medicine, system and quality improvement.
