Dr Dorian Wenzel is a locally trained Specialist Anaesthetist based in Perth, Western Australia. He has experience across all of Perth’s major adult hospitals including the obstetric and paediatric centres as well as regional centres throughout Western Australia. He completed a year of subspeciality training at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital in Perth with a primary focus on Regional Anaesthesia.
Dr Wenzel currently holds an appointment at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital as a Consultant Anaesthetist, where he is actively involved in the acute pain service, doctor well-being and education.
Dr Wenzel has a keen interest in teaching and mentorship particularly regarding regional anaesthesia, having taught at numerous conferences, and is an active member of the Well-Being Group at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. He is accredited at all major private hospitals in Perth with experience in complex joint replacement, obstetrics, endoscopy, cosmetic, general and plastic surgery.
