Dr Ray Paramalingam is a Specialist Anaesthetist who has worked in all of Perth’s tertiary referral centres. Locally trained here in WA, he completed his advanced subspeciality fellowship training at Royal Perth and Royal Darwin Hospital. In addition to Anaesthesia, he has extensive experience training and working in Emergency Medicine, working overseas and with the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Professional Interests:

Dr Ray is currently employed in the public sector as a Specialist Anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital and St John of God Midland Hospital. He holds accreditation at most major private hospitals in Perth. He has a wide range of surgical speciality interests including orthopaedics, trauma, obstetrics, ophthalmology, plastic, general and urological surgery. He maintains an active role in education and instructs on a range of training courses.
In his spare time, Dr Ray enjoys playing squash, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
