Dr Fitzpatrick completed his specialist anaesthesia training in Western Australia with experience across all of Perth’s major adult, obstetric and paediatric hospitals. He completed subspeciality training in Regional Anaesthesia at Fiona Stanley Hospital and the Airway fellowship at Royal Perth Hospital. After gaining his specialist qualification in 2018, Dr Fitzpatrick undertook further training in the NHS in the UK, where he completed fellowships in ENT & Maxillofacial surgery as well as Upper GI & Thoracic surgery at the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

Dr Fitzpatrick is currently employed as a specialist anaesthetist at Royal Perth Hospital, where he is also involved in airway teaching, as well as working privately. His interests include orthopaedics, plastics, endoscopy, ENT and Upper GI surgery.
